Heritage Baptist Academy’s mission is to prepare young people academically for the challenges of college and spiritually for the challenges of a fallen world. Our desire is that all of our graduates leave here with a heart and passion to serve the Lord, no matter what callings they pursue. We believe that our most effective leaders are those who know how to give and know how to inspire others by the power of their unselfish example.

To accomplish this task we have a staff that is appropriately skilled in the field of education. More importantly, our faculty is committed to their own personal spiritual growth. Though not perfect, the staff is humbled by the reality that young people need models of Christ-likeness from those in authority. Students need to see their leaders respond to life with the strength of God’s grace. They also need to learn that the Bible, God and Jesus Christ aren’t just a part of the curriculum but the most significant part of their lives.

Teachers seek to minister not just to the intellectual needs of students, but to their physical, social, and spiritual needs as well. We develop minds and we mold characters. We teach good manners, good health, good citizenship, love of country, and Christian values. Most importantly, we expose each child to the truths of the Bible and challenge each one to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Philosophically, we do not view our Christian school as the primary means of a young person’s spiritual growth. We do believe we can effectively support parents and churches in making their children’s spiritual growth the highest priority.
